| Airborn Flightware was first established in 1991, as a result, believe it or not, of Desert Storm. The magnitude of watching our country at war on television, had a tremendous impact on us. The pride we felt for the brave men and women of our military was overwhelming'and so, Airborn was born! |
| We started selling our merchandise by mail-order in our basement. To further our marketing, we began participating in air shows. Not an easy chore, since I was a New York City English Teacher at Aviation High School, raising two wonderful children, and had not had the time nor the ability to be bi-locational. Nonetheless, we persevered. All too often, Warren was on his own, traipsing across the country, following the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds at all the shows we were able to gain entry to.' |
